About

Josh Nasser is an NYC based stand-up comedian. His comedy has been featured on Comedy Central’s YouTube Channel while Vulture and onmogul.com have both named him as one of the best up and coming comedians in NYC.

Once a month, Josh co-hosted the monthly comedy show, Oh, Such a Good Show, Oh at Union Hall, which was a long running comedy variety show. The show has been featured as a show to watch in The New York Times.

Josh’s shows have been all over New York City. Some of them include:

  • Live! From! Snackland! Think Comedy Bang Bang meets Good Eats. “This show occupies that sweet spot between cooking shows and comedy.” - The New York Times.

  • Oh, Such a Huge Show, Oh! at The Bell House, which is a large blow out version of the Union Hall Show, with big guests and great jokes! All proceeds go to charity, with the last one being a fundraiser for The Transgender Law Center!

  • At Littlefield, Josh put up his 30 minute comedic play, Mints Hints which was an adult parody of Blues Clues.

  • Jake and Josh Are Not Funny, a comedic variety show which showcases comedians new and old alike.

Aside from comedy, he has been in Off-Broadway musicals, Wicked Frozen and PharmaBro: An American Douchical. He made his feature film debut in Importance (of us) which is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime. He is also a proud member of the Webby Award winning writing team for the Story Pirates Podcast, which adapts children's stories into musical comedy sketches. Josh’s favorite food is cheese pizza. He knows that’s a boring choice and he’ll work on it.
